this picture is also quite simplistic. the fence acts as a leading line and all the little diamond shapes lead your eye in and out of the photo. there's kind of a calm feeling looking at the subject but also i get a sense of wonder thinking what's on his mind. being a portrait photographer was hard because you had to tell someone else what to do and how to look when i didn't even know what i really wanted. it's hard directing someone and having your model follow exactly what you want.

thia is a strong picture because the subject is in focus and the background is blurred. it was a narrow depth of field. the picture is very simplistic and there's no clutter or distractions. the lightings really nice and soft and he looks really cute =)

this is a cool picture because of the bench and how secluded it is. there's filtered light, direct light and lots of the picture is covered with shadows.

i really really like this picture. i think mostly because of the colors and lighting it's very bright, happy and colorful. it's cool how the foreground is blurred the middle is in focus and the back is blurred. i didnt actually bend down to get this angle i just help my camera to the ground and pointed up.

This shoot was harder because you didn't have time to adjust your exposure or aperature or you'd miss what you were trying to shoot. The contrast or brightness of the picture is never exactly the way you want it but i think it's pretty good with this picture. This picture has more emotional qualities than picture ones. it's cute, at one point the man on the left whispered something into the other ones ear like they were gossiping.

This wasn't one of my favorite pictures but it looks cool. most of my favorite pictures were of old couples holding hands and stuff.Street shooting was hard just because i didnt have any control over what went where and everything is constantly moving. Most people were definitely not happy to have their picture taken but i learned that after i took the picture to not make any eye contact whatsoever. it was pretty funny seeing some people's reactions though.

with this picture i used the macro function to make the foreground kind of blurry and the focus is all in the cup. i changed it to a grey scale photo and used the color to target function for the one yellow star. the stars in front are kind of leading lines to the yellow one... sort of. the focal point is the star. i like it. it looks kind of lonely though.
